Our museum relies on the generous donations of individuals, companies, foundations, and public entities in order to fund its operations and fulfill its mission.

If you would like to donate money or items to the museum, please follow the instructions below.

Donating Money

Help preserve one of Utah's best historical and cultural treasures! Your generous donation will help in the daily operation and maintenance of the Fairview Museum of History and Art.

Donations can be made to either the General Fund or the Endowment Fund, or both. Money donated to the General Fund is used directly to help with the day-to-day operation of the museum. Money donated to the Endowment Fund goes into a long-term investment account where only the interest or return on the account is used. As the Endowment Fund increases, the return on investments may reach a point where the museum could be self-sustaining.

Remember, your donation is tax deductible.

Ways to Contribute

Donating Items

We are happy to accept donations of items that are relevant to the mission of the museum, are in satisfactory condition for display, and do not require special preservation methods. Note that all item donations must be approved by the museum acquisitions committee before being accepted. We reserve the right to reject any donated item at our own discretion.

Items donated to the museum become the sole property of the museum and cannot be reclaimed later.

Occasionally we accept special items on loan for temporary display. Contact the museum for details.
