An opening social will be held Friday, December 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Horizon Building. Visitors can meet the artist and see his artwork. Light refreshments will be served.
This modern building houses the works of local artists, a Columbian Mammoth skeleton, natural history displays, a reference library, a gift shop, and much more.
The former Fairview Elementary School is home to the works of famed sculptor Avard Fairbanks as well as a multitude of historical displays and early photographs.
The original Fairview City Hall, built in 1900, has been restored to its period elegance. The Grand Opening will be held on July 24, 2024, with a dedicatory program at 1:00 pm.
The museum campus includes more than just buildings. We have a large outdoor collection of monuments, horse-drawn conveyances, farm implements, and more.

There is no charge for the class, and all are invited. Come practice your wood carving skills and learn from others!

The Fairview Museum of History and Art is proud to present A Legacy of Giving, an exhibition showcasing the profound contributions of artists J.H. Stansfield and Max Blain. This special exhibition opens on October 18th at 7:00 PM and features works that embody a deep appreciation for the land, a commitment to family, and enduring service to the community.
